Yes. We will be offering a non-ATAR HSC, as well as exploring flexible pathways — including TAFE courses and life skills credentials — to suit students with different goals.
The senior years at KIN College are designed with transition in mind. This includes academic pathways, vocational options such as TAFE, and deliberate programs to build life skills, independence, and community connections for post-school life.
Alongside the NSW curriculum, KIN College offers six additional subjects designed to build real-world capability: Pathways to Employment, Financial Literacy, Digital Literacy, Healthy Relationships, Outdoor Education, and Skills for Life.
Classes at KIN College are intentionally small — 10 to 12 students depending on enrolments — to ensure every student gets the attention and support they need.
There will be two educators in each class, in addition to therapists who transition in and out of classrooms throughout the day.
Therapy is embedded into the school model — not a separate service you need to arrange. Our aim is for support to feel seamless and connected to learning, not pulled out of class at random intervals.

We're exploring before and after school care options beyond our 8.15am supervision. Please register your interest and indicate this as a priority for your family so we can factor it into our planning.
Canteen arrangements are being planned. We'll confirm details for enrolled families before the school opens.
We're actively working to ensure transport options are available for families, including exploring eligibility for Department of Education assisted transport. Please flag transport as a consideration in your expression of interest.
Recruitment is underway. We're looking for educators who are not just credentialled but genuinely passionate about neurodiverse learners. We believe the right mission attracts the right people — and we're committed to building a team that reflects our values.
Community connection is a core part of our model. We're actively building relationships with local businesses, TAFE, and employers to create meaningful pathways for students transitioning out of school — particularly in the senior years.
KIN College draws on evidence-based approaches to neurodiverse education, integrating therapeutic support, strengths-based learning, and a strong focus on community and belonging.
